The heart sign is as old as the most ancient of symbols. Graphically the heart is related to fire, aries, and represents together or union. The pentagram is often featured alongside the heart, the combination stands for party, togetherness, happiness, and favorable opportunity. Among Aztects, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Celts and Taoists the heart represents good or positive. Coupled with an arrow the symbol can mean directed energy, flow, penetration, victory or death. In ancient Greece the heart symbol was related to the lyre, and attributed to Eros, god of sexual love.
